In this meeting, we uniquely bring together scientists, clinicians and patients to explore the mucosal immunology of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) through the lens of the Montreal classification of IBD, which assesses age at diagnosis, disease location and disease behaviour, whether it be inflammatory, stricturing or fistulating. We will explore how mucosal immunology and microbiology can help in the understanding of the different patterns of IBD that are seen in clinical practice.
